Skills to Have in Your Resume for Remote Jobs

Hard and soft skills

Soft skills decide whether your resume will be shortlisted or not. These can be taught but you are not provided with any certification. Soft skills are something that is highly valued in the professional world. These are linked to the character and personality of a person.

You may have many soft skills and you may include some of them in your resume:

● Time management: In remote working, this skill is very important as you are your boss and have to manage your schedule at your convenience. Mention this skill if you know how to manage time and have prior remote experience in any field.

● Active listening: This is a skill that develops with time. You are an active listener if you listen to someone, paying attention to their words, breaking them and reply thoughtfully. Your chances of getting shortlisted will increase.

● Effective communication: You should have these skills if you are applying for work from jobs Philippines. WFH means no physical cues and reactions, which results in chaos. Most of the communication takes place over a call, text message or through email. Mention this skill if you are confident about it.

● Attention to detail: While applying for part-time jobs online Philippines or applying for remote jobs, your interview is generally online. You should make them believe that this skill is a must and you are serious about it. You can show this skill in your resume if you have this quality and can become an asset to the prospective company.
