How Work From Home Culture Will Change the way we Live

Amid the rise in the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses have got the opportunity to explore and restructure their working style. With a rapid surge in the COVID-19 cases, companies have shifted to work from home strategy. It has given businesses the flexibility to prioritize their work with focusing on employees' health and wellbeing.

 After looking at the advantages and disadvantages of work from home, many companies are opting for working from home, many large companies have even announced their employees to work from home indefinitely. No one knows the duration of this pandemic. Many people have already made up their minds to work from home permanently. It will affect the way people live their life.

 As people are going away from physical offices, they are changing their routine, changing the way they used to live. In the Pre-COVID-19 era, people used to shift to urban cities to get a better job with a better salary but nowadays, it is different. People are more inclined towards shifting in the suburban areas which are peaceful, less polluted, and less prone to pandemic. It is all because of their access to working remotely. Many countries have eased their work visa restrictions to boost their economy by attracting digital nomads to their country.

Working from home will lead to the restructuring of salary. Employees will ask for the salary according to their expenditure in the city they are living in. As employers are saving a lot of money in electricity, meals they used to provide, transportation, they have to reimburse expenses of internet, calls, and other things. One thing which will not change and should not change is the health insurance of the employee. Working from home does not mean that the employee is not your responsibility. The employee is still working for you; his/her health is still valuable to your company.

 People are no more bound to look for a job according to geographical location. However, some companies still want their employees to stay at a drivable distance to have a face-to-face meeting, once a week or a month.
